Football is a widely played and liked sport in the world that surpasses all ages, groups and class. Jaaikaran Chanana is the Founder of the “Play for Ukraine” campaign. The sole aim of this initiative is to spread joy and hope through football to refugee camps around Ukraine, Poland, Hungary and Romania. A unique and one-of-a-kind initiative in the world where football kits and friendly football matches are organized in the camps.
His accolades include the distribution of over 200 football kits in the refugee camps. This has been made possible through collaboration with NGOs and organizations like United Way, UNICEF Romania and Caritas. Jaaikaran Chanana used the power of social media to capture the attention of sponsors and bring new sponsors through Instagram.
